- Which models are included in Starter?
- Starter includes budget-tier models such as DeepSeek. These still provide strong visibility data at a lower cost per query. Upgrade to Pro for full coverage including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.
- What counts as a prompt?
- A prompt is a tracked query submitted to an AI model, for example "best project management tools for remote teams". Each prompt run across one model counts as one prompt use.
- What is the NCI score?
- NCI (Neural Cluster Influence) is Whaily's proprietary scoring system. It measures how much influence a third-party source carries in what AI recommends for a given category. Higher NCI = higher impact on AI citations.
- Can I change plans at any time?
- Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from Settings, and changes take effect immediately. While billing is being finalised, paid tiers run as a 30-day free trial with no credit card required.
- Is the free plan really free?
- Yes. The Free plan stays free forever — 3 prompts run weekly across ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek, with the multi-model comparison view, basic visibility metrics, and a sample of your top sources. No credit card needed. Starter and Pro additionally include a 30-day trial.
- What happens if I go over my prompt limit?
- We'll notify you when you reach 80% of your limit. You can upgrade your plan at any time, and prompt credit top-ups are planned for when billing launches.
- Do you offer annual billing?
- Annual billing with a 20% saving is planned for when billing launches. Right now every paid tier runs as a free 30-day trial, extendable from Settings.
- When does billing start?
- Billing is being finalised. Until it launches, Starter and Pro run as free 30-day trials — no credit card required — and you can extend your trial from Settings or by contacting us.
